This web site is dedicated to the writings of H.W. Moss. Readers of every stripe are extremely welcome.

Moss is a San Francisco author of fiction and journalism who has sold more than 250 articles over the years and contributed to numerous publications including The San Francisco Examiner, The L.A. Times, The Boston Globe, The Chicago Sun Times, Thrasher, Emmy, The San Luis Obispo New Times and a host of others.

Here you will find short stories, essays, humorous pieces, poems, five book-length novels and a comic book. With the exception of the novels and comic book, everything here is FREE and can be downloaded in PDF or MS Word format.

The first 50 pages of each novel have been posted on this site. Readers who wish to read an entire work may buy it using PayPal to transfer funds.

Three of the short stories are also available in an illustrated comic version. "Haight Street Stories," is a 40-page, full-size (8-3/8" X 10-5/8") comic book with a four-color cover.

Each of the works sells for $5.00, but a discount is available when all five are purchased at once. To order, see "Purchasing."
